Been to Jay's the other day and the food IS good ... BUT if you're a Brit who's missing a menu including a table with "Veggie, Chicken, Meat" along the top, and "Korma, Tikka Massala, Rogan Josh, Madras, Vindaloo" down the side then you won't get that here. There's not enough chemical additives for this comfort food.

The Mango Lassi is also a victim of localisation and is closer to a healthy smoothie than the (probably equally localised) creamy lassies i'm used to in Britain.

Would defintely be up for a curry (sophisticated OR comfort versions) in Basel sometime, although probably not till the New Year. Can i bring my Baselbieterin curry connessieur too?
