It seems like anytime my DH has ordered from Amazon.de, he's been hit with duty and fees. Not sure why. I order all my books from Amazon.com, and I've never been charged any duty or fees.

| I just got my son's summer reading book list. They are books in English. I assume the best way is to order over amazon.de under English books - this may sound like a stupid question:
Are the books written in English or are they books written by English speaking authors in German?
I tried searching this under English books, books written in English on this site and didn't find anything.
