Re: Looking For English Native Speaker Around Lake Geneva [English-French tandem]

Hi Marz,

Thank you for the valuable advise regarding TEOSL. I did my undergrad [Bachelor of Arts] from York University too. That was three years ago though. Then I did Early Childhood Education from Sheridan College, Oakville campus. And then travelled to Sydney, Australia for a year to do Masters of teaching -primary division. And this year I am with my husband in Europe. We are based in Austria, here in Zurich for short term only.
My husband too has a L permit, ofcourse making you eligible to work.
I googled about TESOL in Toronto and yes you are right, many private schools offer the course and the duration is about 150 to 200 hours in total. Many give about 50 hours of Teaching blocks. I havent made up my mind yet, but would definatly like to enrol in quality program. Meanwhile I am also in the process of getting myself register with both Ontario and Alberta Teacher's college.
Good luck in finding teaching position here in Switzerland.
Hope to meet you here someday.
Kind regards,
Shah.
