| I just moved to Zurich 2 weeks ago, my German is also horrible, and I would like to join the SAC - for courses, meeting people, discounts to the climbing gym, and easier access to SAC huts. After reading this thread, I think I will go to the Uto meetings.
If any of you see my post and feel like taking me under your wing, write me back! I'd like to go to my first meeting with some other English-speaker. | |

Welcome to Zurich! We still have yet to make it to one of the Uto meetings, but hope to sometime soon - at least hopefully this fall after summertime visitors have gone.
Even though I haven't been to any meetings yet, I've found that joining the SAC has been a nice way to "connect" with Swiss people when you mention it!
