You should consider that people who work a normal office job are still in the office for about 9 hours a day plus transportation so it can easily be a total of 10-11 hours that the child is left with you.
And these are typically the ones who are looking for a childminder and who have the money to pay them as typically the costs involved are 8-10 CHF an hour.
