Wooo! We'll start an EF swim team yet! FYI, I'll be out of town for the next two weeks so the soonest I'll be swimming is the second week of September. BUT, I have a much smaller class load this semester and will definitely be swimming at least 3x a week.

We tried morning swims last spring, without a great deal of success. I could still be talked into doing a morning or two, but I think evenings might be better. So far, any evening is fine except possibly Wednesday.

For anyone else who might be interested, don't be deterred by us ex-swimmers! I FULLY agree with KeesBeest about slow swimmers in tempo lanes, but as long as we can all agree on a passing protocol it really doesn't matter how slow you swim. Just don't try to kick me when I want to pass (this seems to be a favored tactic among the more elderly floaters...)!
