ive been out in vevey but it was completely dead, i guess montreux works but if you want to party you should defenently go to Lausanne, they have the nices clubs and bars in switzerland!! then you can allwas take the morningtrain home, its around 5.00 when the clubs close  | |

Like I said, it depends what you're looking for
Personally, I like a lot of people in a place with a good atmosphere, good choice of beers at reasonable prices and I'm a massive fan of live music so I go to places that cater for me.
I'm not really into the club scene so don't go to Lausanne that often (unless it's to see a band or for something specific).
There is always something going on in Vevey and the surrounding areas but you have to look.
P.S. August 29th there is a live act on at the English pub "Jazz Café" in Montreux if anyone's interested?
