My husband, a non-EU, has been studying in Geneve for the past 3 months and will continue for at least the next 2 years. I am planning to join him within the next 2 months.

Is it possible to obtain a working permit for me, also a non-EU, as a dependant, or would it be better if I try to find a job first before moving?

Well if your husband is studying, I would guess he doesn't actually have a work permit - so no provision for you to get one as a dependent.
