That wasn't an issue in the present case. FIrst helo on spot 2 minutes, fire brigade primary release on site 3 minutes, first 5 ambulances on site after 5 minutes. Disaster Management Staff in the province (Madrid) operable after 33 minutes, last members arrive at T+68 minutes (and this during the nationwide holidays).

Moreover a plume of smoke from an engine fire is difficult to miss.
