My pregnancy was perfectly covered without problems in hospital of St Gallen. My husban had also an accident in Mountain and it was covered. I have compared before your student insurance care and other. But they informed me that I need a special plan for maternity because only the cantonal hospital is accepted with the basic plan. Deductible is also often different as the Swiss companies system (student care 100 or other with 75 per case). They haven't accepted my husband and person over 30 year old. By Swisscare it was accepted without age problems and very easy website.
