I have taken a quick look at the customs sites, but need to study them more (my German is very rusty; I hope I can brush out the cobwebs from the synapses soon!). And I definitely will with the shippers before we go to far into this.

And I will make it a priority to stop by a supermarket to get a better idea what to expect. This won't be my first time living overseas, but the other occasions were before I was married with children, so really a whole different lifetime. I expect it will be a good bit harder, since I won't be working at first.
