Is there a Globus near you? If so, check out their food department. I buy brown sugar and lots of other baking ingredients (bicarbonate of soda, cream of tartar, baking powder, sultanas, raisins, nuts etc) in there. The one in Lausanne definitely has several different types of brown sugar, from raw cane sugar to demerara to light & dark versions of soft brown sugar. It is a little pricey, but I find its better value than the online superstores unless you are placing a big order.
