It's definitely more expensive to have a pedicure here. I have now found a small salon in Oberrieden where i get an excellent pedicure (still looks great weeks later) but it does cost 65CHF for pedicure plus 10CHF for the nail polish. That's a good 20CHF more than it would cost in London.

In terms of hair stylists, i have finally found a hairdressing salon which i think does a good cut, doesn't use toner when you have highlights and doesn't cost the earth...in fact it's actually cheaper than my hairdresser in London (a first for Switzerland!). That's Valentino's in Zug, opposite the Metalli Centre.
