Sorry you are right about the quarantine, it is otherway around. But still a boerboel is a big dog , unless you will live on a farm in CH. Then I would consider it. We had a jack Russel and although small they are very active and needs space, they get bored very fast. I just couln't imagine th poor thing having to go through life being inside a small apartment. I can barely handle it myself.. It is a difficult desicion, but also think of the animal. I feel very sorry for you, wnt through the same. Good luck.
