G'day!

Are there any english speaking mountain people in the Uri/Nidwalden/Obwadeln/Schwyz-sections? I am considering joining the SAC, but I am a bit worried that I'll remain as an outsider with my poorish german skills... Any experience on the sections in these kantons would be appreciated.

Also, I would be more than happy to meet other english speaking people, who are skiing, skitouring, mtb:ing or climbing these georgeous mountains around us. Anyone out there? I am looking for people to share these hobbies with; mountain sports aren't really the kind of ventures you can or should do alone. So, trustworthy and happy people, experienced or novice, raise your hand!
