thanks for your help everyone! i'll check these places out and let you know what i find. in response to sada: when i was a young teen i had a few classes in judo, but was too distracted by the boys to appreciate it, hence why it didn't last very long discipline, integrity, skill and fitness are all qualities i am building up right now - tae kwon do looks and sounds like it will fit the bill.
