Thank you for all this explanation but this is very strange. I recently had an appointment with an agent in UNIL who is responsible for studentcare. As I understood, studentcare is an insurance intermediar (Vermittler - Broker). He purposed me money if I sign by him and if if find other students. Also at the same day, another agent in the university, but from the CSS company Lausanne also use the same system. I can receive money if I find other students who sign a contract with CSS. I contacted the university and asked if this is legal. I was wondering because I find that this way is very non professional and doubtfull. The university informed me about this illegal way and adviced me to take a regular insurance what I do with Groupe Mutuel. But here also another surprise. Groupe Mutuel and Helsana informed me that they dont provide student insurance. The reason ? They said that CSS has an illegal insurance plan. Accepted exceptionally by the state authorities but not in conformity with the Swiss law... Groupe Mutuel said me that probably this insurance plan will be stopped soon for legal reason. crazy ... I think here are lots of strange informations.... strange... very strange... Finally I followed the explanation of the Service Social of University Lausanne and choosed Groupe Mutuel.
