Re: To save in funds

Hi Whoop,

A year ago I opened an account with Post Finance for this purpose. They have a limited selection of funds, but what sold me was the simplicity and cost transparency that I couldn't decipher with UBS. The online banking is straight forward and available in English.

cheers,
chris

Hello, I am a Swede living in St Gallen with my Swedish GF. We have been here for about a year now, and we are after some initial doubts looking forward to stay here a few years. In Sweden I have a "pension-saving-insurance-thingy". I used to save few hundred CHF a month. I still fiddle with witch funds the savings are to be placed in. Making changes maybe every 1 or 2 months. +48% in 2006

Now I'm looking for something similar but without the "you can’t touch your monies until you are 65 and paid taxes on it" thing.
Do you have any tips on a good online bank that lets me have a monthly savings account that are placed in funds? It doesn’t really have to be a bank in Switzerland, I'm more concerned with fees and that it is in English language.

Maybe any of you banking people have some tips or can point me in the right direction

Many thanks in advance,

//K
