Re: Shopping in Geneva

HMMM.

Well Switzerland specialize in over-the-top shopping - you'll find all the biggest names, nothing really weareable. Most ppl shop at Zara (if you dig, you'll find decent stuff), H&M, Mango.. mix and match, and you have a wardwrobe. Also, sales sometimes bring in some finds.

Lyon has tons, but before that, try Annecy: there is a Printemps, the streets are really walkable and cute, and you'll find lots of good mid-range stuff. Or, hop on a train, and hit Milano (about 4 hrs away by train).

I shop when I travel, find makes I like, then add-on with e-bay once I know the sizes. I do this for pretty much everything: DVDs (lots cheaper than on Amazon), underwear (new of course!!!), make-up, and clothes (I've loaded up on Eileen Fisher silk last year...).
