This is my first post in this forum where I can get pertinent information.
However, I still have questions on what would be best option for me and my wife who will move to Lausanne for my "study" in year 2009.

I confirmed that if there is a pre-extisting medical condition, most private policy for student is not available. My colleague recommended that Golden Care Student Cover which does not have such a exclusion.
Problem is a insurance for my wife who wants to be pregnant next year, which requires her to take Swiss Policy rather than private policy.

My question is whether there is a student policy which can support family as well as a student..
I know Swisscare supports student's family as well, but it does have a exclusion like pre-existing medical condition.
I would like to know a student policy which fit me and my wife at the same time...
(I realize that a basic insurance with covering pregnancy is very expensive, which I can't afford to)
