Thank you!! You wouldn't believe the patronizing comments you get when you are "cold blooded" as I am. The thing is that I am physically cold and there is nothing mental that I can do about it (as a lot of people seem to think). Of course you can put on more clothes but there is a limit even to that. Currently, in our 22 degree bedroom, I sleep with full pyjama, socks, duvet and blanket on top of that.
Also, it is rather difficult to work with the computer with thick mittens and it is quite difficult to breath with a scarf wrapped around your face. :-)
Being pregnant was great as then I finally experienced what it was like to be "normal" with regards to this.
