I play for the hurling team in Zurich, it's a bit of a trek from Lausanne but AFAIK there's no other clubs around in Switzerland. We're starting a Gaa team next year.

There's 5-6 tournaments a year in the "European" region, we play against teams from Brussels, The Hague, Luxembourg, Munich etc and every place hosts a tournament for both Hurling and Gaa.

(For the record, I'm not Irish but I know people who are and they got me into the sport)

If you fancied trekking through to meet the lads (and lasses, Camogie as well) then training starts in Feb - we have at least one guy playing from Basel so we appreciate that you wouldn't be able to make most training sessions, but at maybe you could head over and see what you think?
