At the Raiffeissen Bank it's free to change your coins into notes if you're a customer and about five Francs if you aren't.
It is a known fact, that Raiffeisen is not a country or Canton wide single
unity. Each (or two to three have combined) operates on their own to
make their own bank. They buy/lease the rights to use the name
Raiffeisen. OK.

Each Raiffeisen has their own rules. My example of 1% was from a
Raiffeisen here in East Switerland. The local UBS takes the change and
sends it off to be counted, thus you loose control (out of sight) before it
is counted. There is a Credit Suisse local as well, not sure how they do
it since I am not a CS customer.

So, it may be free... it may cost. Even if it does, it's better than rolling it
yourself and taking it to the Post or Bahnhof
