I held on to it because I thought I'd get it re-set. But I am not a diamond kind of person, really. That's why I kept it for going on 10 years now, sitting and doing nothing.

I'd thought about selling it at auction, but I don't know much about that and if it would pay a better return than a dealer who will give virtually nothing.

PS - your wife can buy it, but I don't guarantee that it carries with it good luck!
