Cablecom physical cable split/shared with cable for Satellite TV

Hello,

Situation
---------
I have a nicely cabled appartment with a cable that my carries Cablecom TV signal from the basement to my living room. There is only one physical cable that is laid in the walls and winds about under the floors (and so cannot be easily nor cheaply replaced nor an additional cable easily nor cheaply laid).

Needed
-------
I would like to have Satellite TV as well, with a dish outside my appartment. I would like the Satellite signal to be carried along the same physical cable (that is within my appartment and that I owe - both the cable and appartment that is...) that my current Cablecom TV signal is carried along.

Questions
---------

Does anyone know if this is possible?

A Cablecom "technical chap" in a MediaMarket store in Brunaupark said this was not possible, since the Cablecom signal uses non standard(?) frequencies.

However I think that the Cablecom signal must only use certain frequencies and these may not overlap nor interfere with a satellite TV signal ?

I'm aware of Input duplexers, that can be used to split satellite TV signals (SAT input 950 - 2250 Mhz) out from terrestrial TV signals (5-862 Mhz).

(1) However is there such a thing as a Input duplexer that will split Cablecom TV signals out from Satellite TV (which are on the 950 - 2250 Mhz frequency range).

(2) Anyone know what frequencies Cablecom TV is sent down cables on?

Hoping someone on this forum (a) understands the problem and what I'm on about and (b) can help with info/answers.

Many thanks
regards Jon
