Is there something similar in Zurich? I've been a runner for years but have decided that some cross-training would be good for me this year. I would like to try a tri, but have no idea how to get prepared, how accepted 1st timers are in local races, and what to do once I've entered. Ideally, I would like to train with a group, preferably English-speakers.

Thanks.
Hey there, well hopefully we will see you sometime soon (once the weather warms a bit!) for one of the cycling outings and maybe some running too... I agree, cross-training is a good thing, plus variety is just more fun!

We've done some tris, my husband more than me, so would be glad to try to help you with some prep trips if we can. We haven't joined any of the tri clubs here ourselves, since we've gotten to know so many great people to train with just thru this forum

By the way Dakman, thanks for plugging the cycling rides here - even from the "other side of the pond"! Hope to see you at one (or many) of them yourself...
