Re: What is Cheddar? (and does Scottish cheddar really work with whisky)

No reason why it wouldn't work at all. The cheddaring process is what makes cheddar cheese melt well. There are a few recipes, including this one, for a cheddar and Guinness fondue. I will try it one day soon but if you try it, please let me know how it works!
