| We've managed to arrange a private lesson for 170CHF between three people. This works out as 56pp, for two hours, but we were able to keep the ratio (Student/instructor) small and direct exactly what we want to learn. In my book far better value, you'd probably get more out of two of these lessons then 4 lessons in a group of 6 or 10 people. | |

I don't disagree that smaller groups are better but I was quite fortunate usually that about half the people would not show up by week 2 so the group size was only 4 or so. Plus they did a good job of breaking the groups to relatively same skills. I wasn't at the Absolute Beginner level and it helped me find a group of similary skilled expats to ski with prior to the EF existing.
This would not apply to Abs Beginner course though (as athletic skill levels will vary significantly).
