Re: Restaurant tips - general for Zurich

I went to this restaurant last week with a business associate:
www.restaurant-alpenrose.ch
Although we had heard good things about it, we were both surprised at how good it was. The menu is limited and mostly mainstay Swiss stuff - minus the fondue/raclette - sorted by regional specialties. They are big on organic produce, local meat, freshly-prepared etc. Having had far too many overpriced, underwhelming "bankers" lunches, I was beginning to think this sort of place ceased to exist. Good service, pleasant people, very nice atmosphere/decoration and reasonably priced to boot.
