From the labels i read on the seat itself and the multi-language manual the car seat is type 'universal', looks exactly as the one found in this link http://www.chicco.com/trio-tour-4/sc...060744.970.000
and has a label ECE R44/04 at the back. I briefly looked up the ECE R44/04 on google and that's what it returned: http://www.childcarseats.org.uk/standards/r4403.htm. One important thing is that the base and the seat itself uses a three-point seat belt system (as opposed to two-point ones). As for the bugaboo cameleon, would have no idea. We used to fix the carseat to the stroller with easy Chicco Klik Klak system, or whatever they call it. So it was very easy to take the seat from the base in the car and plug it into the stroller. I'd guess it would all depend on the adaptor.
