domestic partnership and taxation?

Anyone have any experience with taxation and the new domestic partnership laws? It _looks_ like the laws are supposed to provide equality in inheritance, immigration, retirement, and taxation, which means I should be able to pay taxes at the married rate rather than the single one.

Our brave HR manager is trying to find out how we actually get my tax witholding changed from "single" to "married"; hopefully it's as simple as that. (But it certainly hasn't been that simple getting our residence permits approved - I think Ticino just wasn't quite ready with all of their procedures when the law took effect in January.)

Have any same-sex couples in any other canton managed to be taxed at the married rate?
