Went to Sweden vs USA last night in Bern, great game but the 49chf standing tickets were a disaster. The section was too full and I was unable to find a position from which I could see all of the ice. Standing section full, lots of space in the stands = great organisation.
.
That's because a single seat is 100 CHF and upward . I love hockey, but that's really a rediculous price. In New York I'd pay $30 (40 CHF) to get decent seats at a Rangers (ie: NHL) game. Even when I saw the IIHF Championship in Germany in 2001 tickets were roughly 50 CHF for seats (if I remember correct). I don't even think there was a standing zone in Köln.. I know this is Switzerland, but c'mon, 100CHF for seats?? ...no wonder everyone opts for the 50CHF standing zone

Anyway, how about the Swiss missing the 1/4 finals? I kinda feel bad for them, but on the other hand I'm going to enjoy watching Krueger get roasted by the media

Suprisingly Belarus have been doing very well!
I haven't seen any of their games yet, but Mezin is one of my favorite goalies.
