Hi Running Man,

Please tell me more about you After Work running club. Where do you run?

I am a committed lunch time runner in Basel. Well, I don't have a Lunch running club.
Hi Leonie

The After work running club is becoming very popular in Basel. We run every Thursday at 18.30 from under the Wettsteinebruke (on the Munster side)
We are after, only 6 weeks having regularly 20 people plus coming, from many different companies and many different nationalities.

We run 3 levels of groups, I was a qualified UK athletics coach in the UK and normaly take the beginners group, but now and again switch groups to see how the progress of other runners is going.
Then we have a 30 - 40 minute group, steady pace and then another group of the same time, but abit faster.

We have Secure modern excellent shower facilities in our club house and a bar for a drink or two afterwards and a chat with other runners.

We charge only 15 chf per month membership to cover the club/shower hire costs.

We also soon will be setting some targets i.e. 5k , 10k and half marathon events over the year.

We are a very friendly bunch and our motto is we work hard, but should enjoy what we do and what we achieve.
Oh yes we also have a meal out together after running on the last Thursday of the month.

Please see the calendar for Thursdays event and if you are interested sign on for this week.

Look forward to meeting you.
