If you just need it for holidays and are not in hurry just wait until 2008 starts - Switzerland will enter the Schengen space by midnight from 31st Dec 2007 to 1st Jan 2008. Then I think a valid visa for Switzerland will be enough to enter other countries of Schengen space.
