I've hiked up to and accross the bridge but not up to Trifthutte. There is another hut near the Trift bridge on the same side which we went to though. The hike is quite nice, but it is relatively strenuous. You certainly need to be quite secure on your feet and be comfortable hiking up and down over fairly rough ground for about 1.5 hours from the top of the cable car.
It is beautiful up there though.
