Hi, I have a question that I was hoping someone could help me with. I am planning to be in Switzerland for a few years and hoping to have a child. I am a female US citizen marrying a German citizen with a Swiss c-permit. What sort of permit would I and the child have, and would there be any potential problems? I know the child would not automatically receive Swiss citizenship, but would the child get a C-permit at birth? Would there be any potential hassles in raising the child if they were not a full citizen?
