Re: breast feeding new mum cries for help

I had problems feeding and indeed felt like daisy the cow, once I hit the 6 week mark, I introduced a small amount of formula after a breast feed (approx only 15mls), this was advised by a Health visitor. By doing this I managed to get my baby onto a regular feeding regime (every 3 - 4 hours instead of constant!), this was only introduced once Breast feeding was established, so he did not get confused. I then happily breast fed for 20 weeks, until I returned to work, and there were no issues then getting my baby to take a bottle.

Good luck with it all - the best advice I was given was "ignore everyones advice" and go with your instincts!
