I see a lot of posts here from people asking for basic advice on Investing.

I am not a banker or an investment adviser; I am an engineer by training, but have been successfully managing my own investments for 20 years. I see the financial marketplace as a logical game, and it bothers me that a million people live off the misinformation and deception that is rampant.

So here's what I am asking... Would anyone be interested in hearing about how simple and logical investing is ?

I am not selling anything, and not offering to manage anyone's money. I will not recommend any stocks or funds. Nor will I recommend someone else to manage your money. All i want to talk about is how simple and logical it is, and how to cut through all the crap you hear from the so called experts.

If there's sufficient interest, we can talk about venue and dates.
I am also an engineer by profession, and have been successfully managing mine and my father's investments for the last 5 years. But even I can learn from someone with your experience. I would also be interested in this initiative and also getting to know like minded individuals who are interested in Investing. I totally agree that the financial advisory industry thrives on misinformation, even here in Switzerland. Investments should be managed by oneself after reading some of the classic books on Investing. I would gladly tell people which books I've read if there is interest.
