Re: Discussion on Road Cycling Routes

Hi
I am not sure if this the right section to post a question, but wondered if anyone can give me some advice.
A friend and I are coming out to Switzerland at the end of July. We are arriving at Zurich airport and heading to Interlaken. We were thinking of cycling, but wondered what the route is like. Firstly how easy is it to navigate through Zurich and then how safe and easy/hard would the cycle be?
Once in Interlaken we will touring so any thoughts on good routes etc would be great
Thanks
I did the Zurich-interlaken leg route some time ago, with stopover at Lucerne. You can find details here

Roads are excellent, and cycling in the city is quite safe and easy, I mean nothing is 100% accident-proof but I believe it is as good as it can get.

Once in Interlaken you will be spoilt for choice, first decide whether to do MTB or road biking, and then the cycling veterans will help you further
