As a non-EU, even if you are not on time-limited contract, you get a time-limited, employer-bound permit. So, what's the drawback??
Do you know if such thing is accepted in Geneva canton? Also, it's been 3 yrs now that I am in Geneva and I didn't ask such thing before.. Is it too late to ask for it now?
