Re: Anyone tried bike park Zurich Urdorf?

Well I did try it in the end........and I belive it's the first and the last time.

I rode there the first day through the woods towards Uitikon, and could I find this place?.......even though i had a map with me it was no where to be seen, so hot and bothered I peddled home again.

Then the following day, I decided to give my Navi a go at it, so stuffing my Tracer VP into my car (and it does fit in a Mk2 TT with just the front wheel off, as long as you put the passenger seat forward,) off I went.

Well even with the Navi it was a pain to find, but in the end I did find it.

Let's just say, it didn't live upto expectations.......The place is tiny and not very interesting at all.

There are some man made trails, a bit of pump track and some jumps, plus a northshore (that I steared clear of as it didn't look that well maintained) but basically you could get around the whole thing in around 10 minutes or less.

I didn't like at all, the tree branch lined artificial trails, and the pump track was just wrong - came away with a bad impression, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I was there on my own anyway for around an hour or so, whilst I guess all other people were off doing some far more interesting trails.......

Will definitely go further a-field next time to find something better.

Cheers,

Phil.
