Funny. I would not consider any of the ultra races as being particularly hard on the heart...maybe the feet and joints (lol!)...but the greater risk is to chemically unbalance yourself thru bad nutrition or hydration. In contrast, the short, fast races would cause me heart failure!  | |

You need a medical certificate for ALL races in France, even a little village race. It's an insurance/legal issue. Maybe for a big races one not-in-french would do, but elsewhere - Good Luck!
As I like to say - France is very french!
