We chose to buy a Bernese Mountain Dog. It couldn't have been easier. We went to visit the breeder and selected a puppy. She took some details from us for the Dog Passport and for his chip. Then a couple of weeks later we went and collected him. I would advise that you don't take the first breeder that you find and that you visit the them and take a look at the environment that the dog has been raised in. We have three children, so something that was important for us was breed traits of the dog with children.
