Re: finally lower taxes for married people

Explains the drama of five months with a promise to marry.
I am non european.
I smelt a fish so came to this forum to find info on tax.

Now please if someone can help me how to find out (with access to all my personal information with a promise to marry) this man has shown a loan from me to aviod tax without my consent.

Please help me.

to sum up the new rules starting 2008:

-you can deduct 50% of the lower income up to 12500 from the taxable income
-another 2500 gets deducted from income

it's the right year to get married..
Plus this is going to change again around 2010 to make it even more family friendly (I hope).
