Hi,

I have been to Basel for about 3 months now (25th April).

I understand that I have 3 months to get my health insurance sorted out. But I have messed up my time here and I totally forgot about the health insurance thing. I just submitted an application for an insurance company and they told me the process will that 2 weeks. By that time, I am more than 3 months without swiss health insurance here.

Does anyone know what should I do now? Will I get any fine over late contribution to Health Insurance?
