I would say it went pretty well actually! Though I received the invitation letter for the examination couple months later. Unfortunately the date of my driving test was exactly on the day of my graduation ceremony, I had to write back to the traffic department requesting a later or earlier date. It didn't take a week until another invitation letter was sent with an adjusted date 5 days later than the original.

On the day of the test the driving instructor who examined me was pretty ok, we almost had an accident during the exam!! but was the other party's fault! haha

As for driving lessons, I took them in Luzern with a cool instructor, charged me 85 Swiss Francs per hour, I took about 13-15 lessons (1 hour each lesson) so do the math. I think the lessons helped me very much, for this matter I also learned way more than I had with my Dubai drivers license.

The examination driver + the license + conversion fee + postage cost me exactly CHF 215 if I remember correctly. Passed the test and my Dubai license was returned with a white sticker on the back stating "Invalid to drive in Switzerland"
