| Would love to hear the "long story" as to why you think your landlord cannot get you out. Of course he can, it takes time, but it can be done. Landlords often have deeper pockets than tenants.
I know tenants who battled their landlord to win the right to stay. The matter dragged on but in the end they had to move. They only managed to postpone the inevitable giving them time to find another property. They have children in the local schools and wanted to find a suitable property to rent in the same area and this takes time.
A landlord can have cause to ask a tenant to vacate. Situations change, just as they do for a tenant. It is far better to try to come to some agreement.
The sticks you are referring to indicate a buiding project. The owner will have applied for a building permit. Go to the Gemeinde and ask to see the documentation.
The landlord and tenant association can help you but you might first try to find a solution with your ex boss that both of you can live with. | |

Of course, I don't say I'm untouchable here, and eventually they could kick me out anyway, but for now he don't want to use the law, but just try to intimidate me in other way, so I leave. That's also why I think he started that building construction. To see if that will work to make me go. And that's also why i wanted to know my right about this, and if I had to call the cops when the construction start. Or when random people show up in my property, without me knowing about what's going on.
Thanks for your info though. It helps.
