I've never heard anyone having problems getting birth certificates - don't forget also I assume to register the birth at your own consulate or embassy  | |

all very throughtfully & throroughly organised by the the Frauenklinik in Bern, along with the Civil Standisamt .... 2 weeks later new family book .... 2 weeks after that nice little C Ausweis from Gemeinde. So not sure why people are jumping through hoops elsewhere.
