I have a reasonable overview of what the software engineers are getting in the company in which I work. We are alos considered to be quite high payers. I can assure you that for us, the tool is way over-estimating. I would put our average much mch closer to the lower end than the upper end, and certainy not above 130k. Indeed, the IT managers who run teams of engineers do not earn as much as the upper band suggested.

I expect the survey has included contractors, of which there is a lot in Switzeralnd. This will greatly skew the data in my humble opinion.
