Hi I have just joined but have been reading all the posts on Sky installations/agents etc.

I brought a Sky card and box over from England with me, bought all the stuff (dish, cable LNB etc.) but my house has such a big roof (it's an old barn) and is at the wrong angle we can't mount the dish anywhere and get any kind of signal. The guy who came to install said it would have to be mounted a long way from the house would need special equipment to boost the signal etc. and would cost 2000 CHF. I used a guy in Ruschlikon.

I'm totally gutted.

I'm now stuck with a Sky box and £43 a month Sky package I cannot use! Has anyone got any suggestions or does anyone want my Sky dish and card with no agency fee etc? Thanks
